Experience:
I spent the last four years as a student at SUNY Geneseo. While a student I worked in the international student services office as a student worker.
I spent most of my time in the office answering questions and sending information to prospective students. I really looked forward to finally getting to meet some of the students I had been conversing with. I always looked forward to Fall orientation as well! I loved working in the office so much that I jumped at the opportunity to stay and become the Assistant Director. I started working as the Assistant Director this summer and have really enjoyed it so far!
Prior to working for the International Student Services Office I spent time working as a cashier at a local grocery mart in my hometown. When I came to Geneseo I knew immediately that I wanted to become a business major. If you have any questions about what kind of classes you will be taking or what kind of work be expected to complete, feel free to e-mail me. Also, I completed a business management internship with Walgreens, a national drug store chain through the school of business. I enjoyed sociology classes a lot and decided to pick it up as a minor while completing my business degree.
Some of my hobbies include sports, movies, hanging out with friends, and traveling the world!! My favorite sport is football(american football not futbol) and the team I root for is the New York Giants. I love all sports though and particpated heavily in them while I was a student at Geneseo. So far I have only been able to travel to Canada, Mexico, Ireland and Italy but I am looking to add to that list soon.
