Office Responsibilities:

  • Advising international (F-1) students in legal and academic matters.

  • Orientation Planning and Presentation

  • Website Development.

Experience:

  • I spent the last four years as a student at SUNY Geneseo. While a student I worked in the international student services office as a student worker. I spent most of my time in the office answering questions and sending information to prospective students. I really looked forward to finally getting to meet some of the students I had been conversing with. I always looked forward to Fall orientation as well! I loved working in the office so much that I jumped at the opportunity to stay and become the Assistant Director. I started working as the Assistant Director this summer and have really enjoyed it so far!
  • Prior to working for the International Student Services Office I spent time working as a cashier at a local grocery mart in my hometown. When I came to Geneseo I knew immediately that I wanted to become a business major. If you have any questions about what kind of classes you will be taking or what kind of work be expected to complete, feel free to e-mail me. Also, I completed a business management internship with Walgreens, a national drug store chain through the school of business. I enjoyed sociology classes a lot and decided to pick it up as a minor while completing my business degree.
  • Some of my hobbies include sports, movies, hanging out with friends, and traveling the world!! My favorite sport is football(american football not futbol) and the team I root for is the New York Giants. I love all sports though and particpated heavily in them while I was a student at Geneseo. So far I have only been able to travel to Canada, Mexico, Ireland and Italy but I am looking to add to that list soon.
