Experience:

  • I am in my second year at Geneseo and have loved it from the time I arrived! The students are fun and friendly, the faculty is brilliant and accommodating, and there is always something to do on campus. It has truly become my second home.
  • This is my first year working as a student worker in the International Student Services Office. I’ve enjoyed getting to know all of the students and am excited for the Fall ’09 class! See you at orientation!
  • I currently live in one of the suite-style residence halls on North campus with seven of my friends. In my freshman year, I lived in a corridor-style hall on South campus. Both experiences were great and I’d be glad to answer any questions you may have about living on campus.

Activities:

  • Geneseo offers a variety of social-service organizations, volunteer groups, special-interest clubs, and other organizations for its students. There is something to interest everyone! I’m involved in Geneseo Organization for Deaf Awareness (GODA), the National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association, and a group that gives volunteer piano lessons to families in the community. I’d be happy to answer any questions about organizations on the Geneseo campus!
  • I am also a member of a social-service organization on campus, called the “Royal Lady Knights” (or RLK). We enjoy volunteering at various places in and around Geneseo and having fun! It is a rewarding experience and, through it, I’ve made some life-long friends.

Office Responsibilities:

  • General Office Work
  • Email correspondent answering questions and/or concerns from prospective and current students.
  • Work on ISS computer database.
