The academic year is divided into two parts, called semesters. Fall semester begins in August and ends in December. Spring semester begins in January and ends in May.

The majority of international students receive a $2,000 scholarship to help defer the cost of study at Geneseo. Some international students also qualify for additional merit scholarships that reduce costs even further than shown below.

* These "TOTAL" costs do NOT include expenses for textbooks, supplies, clothing, airfare or money for incidental living expenses.
** The costs above do NOT include expenses for summer session studies.
